$40.00 Released March, 2007

Product Shot 1 The Pros:Works with both the PS3 and PC. Wider than conventional controllers, a little more comfortable to hold. Has a solid, heavy feel that has a reassuring balance to it.

The Cons:Lacks tilt sensors, can't use that part of the functionality. Still requires a USB port for wireless - no Bluetooth. Can't turn the PS3 on with the controller.

The Logitech Cordless Precision Controller is designed for the PlayStation 3 (PS3) gaming system. It can be considered as a direct replacement fro the Cordless Action game pad which was designed for the PS2.

Product Shot 2 They share an almost identical physical design. The Cordless Precision has an identical button lay out as the standard PS3 game pad, but it requires an additional mini receiver (provided) in order for the game pad to be able to connect to the PS3. one additional feature is the D/mode setting which essentially swaps the function of the D-pad and analog stick for users who prefer using the D-pad (cannot be done with standard PS3 game pad). The power management function automatically powers down the game pad after 5 minutes of inactivity to preserve battery life. With only 2 AA batteries the Cordless Precision can last up to 300 hours.
