The Cymbal Expansion Kit comes with a green, blue, or yellow Wing Nut to properly categories between Crash, High-Hat, or Ride Cymbals. With 2 symbals, you have the choice out of 2 of 3 types, as opposed to the single cymbal expansion. The Cymbals are velocity sensitive for precise drum play and are compatible with Rock Band 2 and The Beatles: Rock Band. However, they are not compatible with The Beatles: Rock Band Special Value Edition. The Cymbal Expansion is easy to install with a clamp that attaches to a height-adjustable metal pole. The Cymbals look is designed to display the proper area of where to strike. The Mad Catz Rock Band 2 Cymbal Expansion Kit is of high quality and design.
The Cymbals can be adjusted with the Wing Nut for varied tension as per player preference. The only difference between hitting the Cymbals over the Drumhead for corresponding notes is the Cymbal sound that is made when it is hit.
