Power Gig Full-Size SixString Guitar

The Power Gig Full-Size SixString Guitar is a limited-edition, full-size gaming guitar released for the PS3 and Xbox 360 consoles as a competitor to the Rock  Band and Guitar Hero franchises. Mainly targeted for the game ‘Rise of the SixString,’ the device features a single cutaway basswood body, a humbucking pickup, and a maple neck with a rosewood fretboard.

More importantly, it’s a fully functioning wireless six-string electric guitar that can be used either in-game or with a standard guitar amplifier. When used with the game, there are two options: easy or advanced. Easy means just holding down any string in the colored fret areas that match the patterns onscreen, while advanced features colored numbers from 1 to 6. This makes for a much more realistic guitar-playing experience, which you can’t get from competitor models that just rely on simple button-mashing.
