Users can operate their computer comfortably from their couch by merely waving hand gestures at the Xtion. They can access multimedia content (videos, songs), browse the Internet, carouse a social networking site, or play a game. It has a 25-meter range, and it was later ported to third-party vendors so they could implement it into their own solutions.
