Razer Orochi

$70.00 Released August, 2009

Product Shot 1 The Pros:Ambidextrous and ergonomic design, comfortable for both left and right handed users. Seven customisable buttons, a big number considering it's a small travel mouse. Dual bluetooth and wired mode.

The Cons:Expensive for a wireless travel mouse. 3 second lag when waking from the power saving sleep mode (on bluetooth).

The Razer Orochi is a mid-range wireless gaming mouse. While the top-of-the-line Mamba features 5600dpi laser tracking in both wired and wireless modes, the Orochi operates at 2000 dpi wirelessly and 4000 dpi wired, still enabling gaming-grade precision and sensitivity.

In Bluetooth wireless mode, the mouse loses its 1000Hz polling capability, so response time rises to 8 ms. Designed for mobility, the Orochi is equipped with on-board memory, allowing users to save settings and button profiles so that the mouse does not need to be reconfigured when used with a new system. Unlike many of Razer's mid-to-high-end mice, the Orochi can be used by left- and right-handed gamers.
