Product Shot 1 The Pros:Detachable microphone - allows the headset to double as a standard pair of headphones. Cable length - good for sitting a ways back from a 40-50" HDTV. Good customer support - RMA/replacement requests are handled professionally.

The Cons:Not comfortable for extended use - they tend to put pressure on the user's head. Mediocre microphone - doesn't isolate sound as well as competing headsets. Must be powered via USB - no A/C option.

The AX 180 is the entry-level gaming headset from Tritton. The USB device is designed primarily for use with the Playstation 3 and Xbox 360, and features a removable microphone and inline audio controller with independent game and chat volume adjustment.
